I got a bamboo tattoo at Bloodline two days ago – my second tattoo there after having my full arm done about a year ago (done with a machine, not bamboo). I’m very happy with both results; the quality of the work is excellent and I would definitely recommend the studio. I’m deducting one star for organization and communication. From the very first communication, I clearly described what I wanted (including reference photos) and was given a price estimate of 8,000–10,000 Baht. During the session, it turned out the tattoo would take much longer and I was charged for a full-day session. While I was told a higher rate for bamboo tattoos usually applies, this was not charged separately. However, due to the extended time and day rate, the final price ended up being more than double the original estimate. This was only clarified once I was already in the session. The final price itself is fair, and I would have been willing to pay it from the start. The issue was the lack of coordination between reception and artist, and the late communication. Also, it had been agreed that I could have small touch-ups on my previous tattoo done for free. This seemed to have been overlooked at first, and the original artist wasn’t available. Initially, I was asked to come back another day, but in the end another artist stepped in and completed it on the spot. The result is great, but again shows room for improvement in organization. Overall: excellent artistic work, but communication and planning should be more transparent.

Tommy took the time to genuinely listen, talk me through the process, and showed a level of care and interest that I simply didn’t find elsewhere. The price was slightly above what I had originally budgeted, but after the initial conversation, it was an easy decision to go with them. Considering the quality and the experience, it was still extremely fair compared to Western studios. The session itself ended up being longer and tougher than expected. At one point I wasn’t fully happy with the placement, and they were incredibly accommodating, even redesigning parts of the tattoo on the spot despite the studio heading toward closing time. What impressed me most was that the artist continued well beyond closing without ever making me feel rushed. If anything, I was the one hoping he’d call it a day because it was pretty intense 😂. Despite what must have been a very long day for him, he stayed patient and focused the entire time, taking the same care with the final lines as he did at the start. The result is an absolute masterpiece and a tattoo that means a great deal to me. If you’re looking for the cheapest, quickest tattoo in Bangkok, there are plenty of places that can do that. But if you want real care, patience, craftsmanship, and artists who genuinely take pride in their work, this is the place to go. I honestly wouldn’t consider anywhere else in Bangkok.

I’m not a tattoo covered guy, so it takes me more than two beers or a flashing thought to decide on one, especially if it’s a lower leg full sleeve one. So after many consultations in town I decided on Bloodline. Zac and Tommy were so helpful setting it. For my Japanese style phoenix Ray was the chosen artist . He immediately came up with great sketches and incorporated all my suggestions to my full satisfaction (and I am an OCD person). We were about 6-7 customers having tattoos at the same time and despite the pain the atmosphere was amazing, sharing experiences and mutual support. The result exceeded my expectations forgetting all the pain, rushing to share photos with family and friends. Not sure will have another tattoo soon, this might change after lunch, but if yes, then only at bloodline for sure.

I've been searching forever for a studio like this. Everything was super clean and professional. Zac and Tommy were awesome and answered all my questions. My artist Prem didn't speak English, but it wasn't an issue at all—the other artists translated everything and made me feel really comfortable. Prem's incredibly talented, super fast, and I couldn't be happier with how the tattoo turned out. He was the nicest guy and stayed so calm the whole time while designing my perfect piece. I'll definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone—over those 3 days, I only saw amazing tattoos and got a lot of inspiration for my next tattoos.

Super salon, je recommande à 100%. J’avais réservé pour un bras complet, j’ai malheureusement eu un accident de scooter, j’ai prévenu le salon de tatouage qui a tout de suite proposé de reporter le projet, un grand merci pour leur compréhension. J’ai tout de même voulu me faire tatouer l’autre bras, j’ai eu à faire à un tatoueur très sympa (surtout quand il chantait), il a pris le temps d’ajuster les différents tatouages pour que ça me plaise quitte à recommencer plusieurs fois. L’ambiance est familiale et vraiment sympathique. Hâte d’y retourner en avril pour faire ce fameux bras gauche.

Wow. Bangkok just found a new level 😍 didn't get my tattoo yet nor was I asked to review but I've done my research and knew I was in for a treat. Previous reviews promised a 5 star service and they did not disappoint. All the action goes on upstairs so when you walk in it feels like walking in to a clinic. The final product is there for everyone to see but what happens to put it there is the part that is equally important and bloodline has you in safe hands. Thank you Gareth and team. It's been 32 years since I got my first tattoo. I did my research and found out that Bloodline Tattoo has one of the best tattoo studios in Bangkok. They did not let me down. The staff is amazing. Very friendly and approachable. And the studio is spotless. As it should be. My tattoo is exceptionally good. Well detailed. And came out just like the photo. From someone living in switzerland & who puts a lot of focus and weight on artistic quality this studio definetely matched my standard. Also I dont know the price ratio for bigger pieces but my shoulder tattoo had the craziest price/quality ratio I've ever experienced. As I already told the mates; I will be back <3

Bloodline in Bangkok was amazing! Reasonable prices, quick but thorough work with great attention to detail. Zack was super organized and effortlessly sorted an appointment on my schedule. I brought what was basically clip art with little expectation and my artist, Arm (that’s his name. It’s not a typo), turned it into something very photorealistic! Got in contact with Bloodline BKK looking for some ink work to be done. Response was fast and before I knew it, deposit paid and dates were reserved. Day 1 was consult with the design and placement more or less mapped out. On the 2nd day, we got down to the actual work and I must say I was pleased with the end result. Clean, top notch service and impeccable art by my artist Zhou. Seamless throughout. Highly recommend if you’re headed to Bangkok for a tattoo.

Really happy with how my chest piece turned out. Paul did an awesome job with the shading and detail and made it flow really well with my existing tattoos. It was also a small cover-up over some old calligraphy on the right side of my chest and you honestly can’t even tell it was there before. Super clean work and very professional.Good vibes in the studio, took their time, and the end result came out exactly how I wanted.
